What is aggregation and why do I want it? 

Aggregation adds value to the blog owner by both helping to optimize your search engine results and to drive traffic.  Search engines rely on incoming links to help determine contents’ value.

By using this service you receive 1 permanent main page link and for each post syndicated you receive 3 links on 4 pages (main page, author archives, category archives, and monthly archives.)  The 3 links are 1 to your main blog page with link text of your blog name and 2 permalinks to the post with link text of the post title.  

By aggregating all of the posts in one place we make it convenient for readers and drive traffic to blogs.

This site aggregates by posting an excerpt of your post and not the entire content.   The RSS feed of this site also just has an excerpt of your RSS feed.  Readers must come to your site in order to read the entire content.
